please note that this is a very graphic intensive page
Ess Sims is proud to present its first restaurant,
The Hip E. Cafe!
Originally going to be called the Stained Glass Cafe, the tie-dye patterns inspired the punnier name. I could not have made this set without the support of the Sims community--especially the tutorials from Wilf's Sims Stuff, Sims Studio, and Raveena's Transparency Tutorial. Thanks to Parsimonious for all the inspiration, and thanks to Paladin's Place for the wonderful programs! A special thank you to all you object creators who allow cloning and recoloring of your original objects! This set is dedicated to you! :)
The Hip E. Cafe has two versions, one with aqua highlights and one with black highlights:
There are two podiums, each fully staffed:

A note on skins: All skins are included in your download (stick them in your GameData/Skins folder). All skins were made using Maxis' Sims Creator & patterns that are original to me. I tried very hard to only use body and head meshes that come with the game no later than Hot Date. No meshes are included in the d/l since they are all imbedded in my game, they should also be in yours. However, if an NPC shows up as just a head and a pair of hands, that means you are missing the appropriate mesh file. Waiter/Waitress heads are recolors of Maxis originals.
