Raeven of Secret Society of Woobsha graciously moved these onto one of SSOW's Wall Display Bases, so they no longer occupy that space directly in front on the aquarium. She has also hacked them so that "sims will sit or stand and gaze at the tanks rather than just glance-and-go like they do with art. When multiple sims gaze at it together it's a group activity (the way TV is) and they are more likely to linger at it if there's others there "viewing" it with them. They gain fun either way and will gain social when doing it as a group."

Are they clonable? Yep! These files are gifts to Ess Sims and so they are clonable/recolorable under the cloning policy.

I love those aquarium tanks that are built into the wall, so I decided to make some for my sims.

It is fully animated and it does sit flush with the wall.

In addition, I went ahead and made it backless--It's only the size of a painting after all, it doesn't stick out like a tank would at the back.

Here it is with a wooden frame. Perfect for that nautically themed bedroom or downtown seafood restaurant. This version goes great with Ess Sims Pirate Themed Restaurant!

I played around with the frame on this one--this frame (based on Maxis' Deluxe World Map) seems too far in front of the wall to me.

The animations are a bit sticky on this tank because I had to reuse a couple of frames--making the fish bob about a bit.

This is the first two-tiled object I made from scratch. I really appreciate the amount of work artists put into making original 2 or 3 tiled objects now.

Special thanks to Lush Creations for T-Mog, and to Bunny Wuffles' z-buffer tutorials.

Here is a less interesting, but more traditional aquarium.

It's basically just the Maxis Turtle Tank on a modified Expensive Counter.

This tank is not animated.
